I try not to get too personal on this here blog.  Its intent is to give a glimpse into life as a grad student at Medill–not simply to be a forum for my brain sludge and/or musings.
I am breaking with that goal for today.

This isn’t really relevant to graduate journalism at all, but my sister-in-law is pregnant.  That means I’m gonna be Uncle Ryan for the first time.  I am extremely excited about this.  The kid is due somewhere around late May.  How awesome is that?
